IT Internal Audit Manager - JR2417636DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced person with a background in information technology auditing and leadership capabilities. As an IT Internal Audit Manager, you will oversee the IT SOX program and ensuring its aligning with our goals and policies. You will manage the planning, execution and reporting of the IT SOX program. You will lead a team of SOX testers who will perform IT general and application controls testing, identify and report deficiencies, and recommend remediation actions. You will collaborate with partners across the organization and external auditors to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. You will report to the Senior Audit Manager, Information Technology.Key Responsibilities

Review working papers to support conclusions drawn and documented with brevity.

Provide technical guidance to control owners for remediation of IT-related internal control gaps.

Ensure any IT-related internal control gaps are remediated and re-tested by year-end.

Monitor overall ITGC SOX assessment status for monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management. Ensure all ITGC SOX deliverables and deadlines are met.

Coordinate with external auditors to provide requested documentation, support audit walkthroughs, and address any findings or recommendations.

Stay updated on latest technologies, regulatory changes, and industry trends to identify areas for improvement and enhance the effectiveness of the SOX audit program.

Maintain relationships with partners, including business leaders, IT teams, and external auditors, promoting collaboration and effective communication.

Prepare comprehensive audit reports and presentations for management, highlighting findings, recommendations, and action plans.

Ensure timely completion of SOX audit projects and manage resources effectively to meet project deadlines.

Develop the talent of the IT audit team.

Perform risk-based IT audits and ad hoc projects.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, accounting, finance, or a related field with 5 years of experience in IT SOX auditing, preferably in a managerial or supervisory position at a public accounting firm or a publicly traded company.

A professional certification such as CISA, CIA, CPA, or equivalent.

Knowledge of IT frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO, NIST.

Have an understand complex financial applications and security policies.

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant critical thinking specialty such as MIS, DIS, Computer Science, Mathematics preferred. CISA, CIA or related certifications preferred. 10-12 years of total work experience preferred. Prior experience in Audit or the relevant specialty area preferred. Additional core skill requirements include understanding of the applied and interpretation of analytics results for Audit, critical thinking and problem solving.
