This is a remote work opportunity.Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the Red Hat Satellite infrastructure, including configuration, provisioning, and patching; perform regular system updates and upgrades to ensure security and optimize performance

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to networking, such as proxies, firewalls, and load balancers; utilize tools like netcat for troubleshooting and verification purposes

Administer Linux systems and maintain system health and integrity; stay up-to-date with Red Hat Security Advisories and CVEs to ensure timely implementation of necessary patches and security measures; perform automation of tasks using Bash scripting

Develop and implement automation solutions using the BigFix Platform for Automation; use vRA, Scorch and ServiceNow API's to design and implement orchestration workflows

Act as a lead or point of contact on projects and initiatives related to automation and orchestration; collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions; troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to automation and orchestration processes

Improve and optimize existing automation and orchestration workflows continuously; present data to demonstrate the value of implemented automation and orchestration solutions

Qualifications:

Minimum five years of recent experience scripting in PowerShell or Python scripting languages and experience using orchestration tools such as vRO or similar tool

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification is preferred; SCRUM Master certification is preferred

Strong Bash scripting skills, with experience in Linux deliverables for BigFix; proficient in using Red Hat Satellite; able to interpret and apply Red Hat Security Advisories and identify potential vulnerabilities based on CVEs; deep understanding of networking concepts, including proxies, firewalls, and load balancers; experience in Linux system administration; highly skilled in using ServiceNow for change management, incident management, and request fulfillment

Demonstrated understanding of different release cycles, including Prod and Non-prod environments; familiarity with Ansible and other configuration management tools is desired; Virtual and Physical Build experience; knowledgeable in Hammer CLI is preferred

Self-motivated, proactive, and organized individual with the ability to work independently and in a team environment; excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capability to clearly communicate complex ideas to different levels of the organization

Exceptional leadership skills and able to act as a lead or point of contact on projects and initiatives; experience in presenting data to showcase the value of implemented automation and orchestration solutions
