Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and operating partnerships for a variety of clients from Fortune 100 companies to emerging businesses

Collaborate with accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provision calculations

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, helping to provide industry knowledge and experience; manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects

Oversee a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope and act as the point of contact for internal and external clients; build and manage client relationships; advise clients and be responsible for delivering high quality tax service and advice

Manage risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and project budgets

Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Manager:

Manage risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and project budgets

Collaborate with other professionals to identify new marketplace opportunities and grow the KPMG tax practice

Qualifications:

Minimum five years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation and/or law firm

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list

Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, strong knowledge of ASC 740 and tax provisions or operating partnerships

Prior experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams

Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate complex information

Additional Qualifications Senior Manager:

Minimum eight years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation and/or law firm; experience mentoring and counseling staff/senior level team members
