The Department of Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh announces a non-tenure track position at the Research Assistant Professor level. The position will be fully funded by federal and foundation research grants. We seek an individual with research interests in developing a mechanistic understanding of factors that drive the development and recurrence of suicidal thoughts and behaviors during adolescence. The candidate should have a background in clinical and/or developmental psychology, a demonstrated track record of scholarly publications and acquiring grant funding, and experience in conducting multimodal research that integrates data across multiple levels of analysis (e.g., neural, physiological, behavioral). The candidate should have a background in neuroimaging methodologies (e.g., EEG) and experience managing risk and ethical/safety concerns that arise when conducting youth suicide research.
