Post Doctoral.Post Doctoral.Associate Med-Medicine - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - 24004124The Department of Medicine Division of Hematology/Oncology seeks to hire a Post Doctoral Associate in Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy in Dr. Zarours laboratory at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center of the University of Pittsburgh. The laboratory focuses on the mechanisms of tumor-induced immune dysfunction, multiple first-in-human immunotherapeutic trials in melanoma patients, and the role of the gut microbiome in regulating immune responses to tumors. We seek highly self-motivated candidates with a strong research background in immunology, molecular biology, and/or mucosal immunology and microbiome. Additional expertise in experimental mouse tumor models is desired. The candidate should possess a Ph.D. in Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy in with peer-reviewed publications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Our laboratory is dynamic, international, supportive, and productive.
