Nurses on this unit will participate in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, side effect management of cancer and cancer therapies, treatment of oncology emergencies, and provide palliative and end-of-life care.
6 Main primarily serves our lymphoma patients receiving chemotherapy and biological treatments. Nurses who work in this unit are developed and trained to administer and be a part of groundbreaking research in patient care.
6 West is an oncology unit that specializes in stem cell transplants, car-t cell infusions, and cutting-edge research. Patient diagnoses include a robust oncology population specializing in hematological cancers. Nurses will attend training to administer chemotherapy as well as Stem Cell Transplant classes.
7 Main is a Hematology-Oncology unit specializing in the treatment of leukemia. We are the only unit within a 500-mile radius trialing new medications with positive outcomes for patients with AML and ALL.
