Research Recruiter and Outreach SpecialistThis position is for a research recruiter and outreach specialist in the Division of Infectious Diseases, HIV/AIDS Program. Under the supervision of faculty Investigators and Research Program Manager, the candidate will work with clinical staff to identify potential research participants, interface with medical providers, and contact potential participants to discuss study participation. The candidate will work with clinical staff to schedule and retain research participants. This candidate will participate in all aspects of planning and implementation of clinical trials and may assist with study visits as needed.Key Job Duties Include but are not limited to:
Complete medical record reviews to identify eligible patients.
Meet with medical providers to discuss eligible patients.
Contact eligible patients by phone, text, and email.
Maintain an online research registry.
Maintain social media profiles for the research site.
Monitor enrollment targets for multiple studies.
Schedule study visits and remind participants about upcoming study visits.
Attend community outreach events.
Assist with study visits by collecting data from participants, processing participant compensation, and transporting lab samples. Job Summary
Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board IRB renewal, modification, and approved protocols.
