The Role:

As the Salesforce Platform Owner you will lead the ongoing expansion of our salesforce.com deployment and ensure we are capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system. The successful candidate will have a track record of implementing multi-generational roadmaps, enabling sales processes, and increasing user adoption of salesforce.com (SFDC).

What You'll Do:


  • Salesforce Roadmap Implementation

  • Actively lead interactions with user base to understand sales & business processes to pro-actively research and propose enabling solutions.

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and IT teams to prioritize and implement their salesforce.com roadmap such as ERP integration, 3rd party lead databases, CPQ, workflow automations, partner communities, and sales enablement.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and 3rd party developers within defined budget & timing.

  • Applies techniques and approaches to discover and define business requirements.




Enhancements and System Functionality


  • Strong understanding of the salesforce.com platform with the ability to maintain, enhance, and create custom fields, views, objects, record types, page layouts, formulas, functions, configurations, workflows (process builder, lightning flow, approvals), installed packages, and other content of basic to intermediate complexity such as Email Templates, Campaigns, Quip Documents, and 3rd party Sales Enablement plug-ins.

  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.

  • Proactively seek out and gather feedback from users in order to coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new enhancements and development requests.

  • Own the change control process for prioritizing and implementing new requests and enhancements.

  • Ability to set-up and manage community clouds.

  • Familiarity with Pardot and ensuring Marketing efforts leverage the CRM platform.




User Training & Adoption




  • Actively seek ways to increase adoption and satisfaction of saleforce.com with internal and external user groups. Actively monitor usage and be the company SME on salesforce.com.

  • Communicate regularly with user base regarding new features, enhancements and changes to the system.

  • Create and administer training programs. Provide one to one training to end users on an on going basis.

  • Translate technical information into effective and simple to understand communications that match their selling processes for non-technical users to comprehend.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 3+ years acting as a system administrator for a Salesforce CRM instance.

  • Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.

  • Strong data management abilities.
