Senior IBM MQ Developer - 124166BRDESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Infosys is seeking a Senior IBM MQ Developer with support and development experience. As a Senior IBM MQ Developer, you will be a key player in the project team that helps the Client by maintaining their MQ landscape. You will lead the team, handle major incident calls, resolving incidents & service requests within the SLA. You will be performing production deployments, regular patching, creating SOP documents, automations for better administration. The role requires a deeper understanding of the different technologies and their corresponding configurations. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 4 years of relevant Information Technology experience

The location for this position is Pittsburgh, PA. This position may require travel to project/client location.Preferred Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in IBM MQ support.

IBM MQ Administration on distributed platforms like Linux, Windows, and Mainframe.

Experience in performing IBM MQ version upgrades, patching etc.

Hands on experience on MQ Appliances, MQ IPT, MQ on Mainframe.

Working Knowledge of incident and alert tracking tools like ServiceNow, Jira, Grafana, Prometheus.

Experience in resolving incidents & service requests within the SLA and handling major incident calls

Lead the project team effectively & ensure no SLA misses and escalations from Client.

Experience with performing production deployments, support DR activities

Create SOP documents, automations for better administration.

Administer and manage MQ publish subscribe and clustersThe job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
