RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client is seeking to hire a Senior Systems Analyst in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (PA).
Summary:
The Senior Systems Analyst will be tasked with analyzing user requirements, evaluating procedures, and identifying problems to develop automated solutions in new or existing applications. You will provide technical direction and guidance to the architecture teams relative to application development. The Senior Systems Analyst will be the lead and will work independently to understand and document business requirements, design the technical solutions to the applications, and create project deliverables as required. This Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for providing technical leadership in areas of implementation of new technology, project/task estimates, participate in application code review sessions, and create technical documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred
7+ years of experience with proficiency in targeted technologies: Java Spring boot, Micro services architecture and docker, and Developing REST APIs
Exposure to other technologies (AWS knowledge, API Management, Oracle Application Express, PL/SQL, Automated testing tools, Oracle BI suite, agile scrum)
Expected deliverables include development and/or drafting of requirements, estimates, design code, unit test, technical documentation, and issue resolution
Must be able to lead/assist team members in trouble shooting advanced technical problems; Must be able to teach technical skills/knowledge to staff members
Knowledge of industry best practices and must have excellent communication skills
Experience in deploying container applications in AWS cloud is preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
