You would be joining a team and organization that embraces open collaboration and teamwork, undertakes agile development, provides opportunities for learning and growth – all the while focused on the mission of eliminating death on the job by 2050.Responsibilities:Infrastructure Management:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using AWS cloud services.

Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

CI/CD Pipeline Development:

Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure smooth and automated code releases.

Work with development teams to integrate and deploy code in a seamless and efficient manner.

Monitoring and Logging:

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

Proactively identify and resolve system issues before they impact users.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with development to align on project goals and deliverables.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates on progress and issues.

Security and Compliance:

Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Automation and Scripting:

Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.

Use scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate processes.

Performance Optimization:

Optimize system performance and reliability through capacity planning, load testing, and performance tuning.

Identify and implement improvements to system architecture and processes.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of software development and system administration.

Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

Knowledge of scripting in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
