Description We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in the Energy/Natural Resources industry located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, maintaining accurate financial records, and resolving financial inquiries. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and present findings to stakeholders. Utilize financial models to simulate financial scenarios. Manage and update financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with other team members to conduct ad hoc financial analysis. Monitor and analyze industry trends and market changes. Apply corporate finance knowledge to optimize financial performance. Conduct account analysis to identify areas for improvement. Resolve financial inquiries promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial objectives align with business goals. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management. Requirements Possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Have a minimum of five years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the Energy/Natural Resources industry. Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts. Familiarity with account analysis techniques. Ability to conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. CFA or MBA is considered a plus. Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting. Proven track record of improving processes and efficiency.
