Description We are offering a permanent, internal, employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about expanding their accounting skills and embracing new challenges. The Staff Accountant will actively support finance and upper management, and will be required to demonstrate proficiency in various software including SAP, Peoplesoft, Excel, Access, Peachtree, Solomon, QuickBooks or Timberline.Responsibilities: Conduct heavy bank and account reconciliation work Prepare depreciation schedules and review financial reports Undertake light tax reviews Support special projects as required by upper management Utilize accounting software such as SAP, Peoplesoft, Excel, Access, Peachtree, Solomon, QuickBooks or Timberline effectively Perform duties related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Execute General Ledger and Journal Entries tasks Assist in Month End Close procedures Operate NetSuite and Oracle for various accounting functions Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficientlyThis role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, providing variety and the chance to grow your knowledge and skillset in accounting.If you have the appropriate background for the Staff Accountant role and are interested in being considered, please apply using the Robert Half website.
