Description We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our non-profit organization in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing financial transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with federal grant requirements. Proven experience in dealing with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Demonstrated proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations. Solid understanding of the General Ledger and Journal Entries. Previous experience with Month End Close procedures. Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly QuickBooks. Familiarity with bill.com is required. Experience in handling Federal Grant accounting is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-profit environment. Commitment to uphold and adhere to the organization's mission and values.
