The Carnegie Mellon Biomedical Engineering department seeks to transform healthcare worldwide through interdisciplinary engineering innovation and to train future leaders and innovators in biomedical engineering.Carnegie Mellon University is searching for asummer intern to join the biomedical engineering department. This is an exciting opportunityfor someone whothrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You willcontributeby providing a broad range of support functions to the department, and other such tasks as assigned to you.Your core responsibilities will include:Supporting and assisting educators during their daily work.Assisting with procedures for data analysis, programming, or research.Assisting in the preparation of wet lab experiments.Designing simple robotic systems for sample processing.Other duties as assigned.Flexibility, excellence, and passion are vital qualities within Carnegie Mellon.
