Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to join our team and contribute to the continued success of The Black Canary Café. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coffee shop management, a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support:
Oversee day-to-day operations at both Blawnox and Springdale locations.
Ensure adherence to quality standards in product preparation and service.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor equipment maintenance.
Marketing and Promotions:
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and events.
Contribute creative ideas to enhance the cafe's visibility and engage the local community.
Utilize social media platforms to promote the café and interact with customers.
Team Leadership:
Train, mentor, and motivate café staff to deliver exceptional service.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Address and resolve any operational issues that may arise.
Travel Between Locations:
Possess reliable transportation to commute between Blawnox and Springdale locations.
Ensure consistent operational standards and customer experiences across both sites.
Business Development:
Identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to increase sales.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute new business initiatives.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in coffee shop management is required.
Reliable transportation for travel between Blawnox and Springdale locations.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
