Chef
What we are looking for:
Must be able to demonstrate a successful record/history as a sous chef or chef who is ready to step up and lead
This is a culinary leadership role in the kitchen, including managerial responsibilities, purchasing, and inventory controls
Ensure product quality and restaurant cleanliness
Understands flavors, aromas & characteristics of food ingredients
Manage daily tasks, labor output & productivity
Work with Chef/Owner to create menus, plate presentation, and recipe development
Supports efficiency, organization & consistency during dinner service
Assist in specific stations, as necessary
Performs calmly & effectively in high-volume environment
Manages “on the fly” requests with ease & poise
Coach, lead & develop team
Schedules cleaning & maintenance tasks toward a healthy, clean & sanitized food safety handling environment

Able to lift 50 pounds, stand for long hours, and use stairs
