Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable.About La PrimaLa Prima Espresso Company is a locally owned and operated coffee company with four retail locations and a certified organic roasting facility. La Prima is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with management experience in the food or coffee industry.Candidates interested in working for La Prima Espresso Co. should have availability for 6 to 8-hour shifts from the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Sunday with the great majority being weekdays. The best candidates will have an interest in coffee, and enjoy a fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities Lead a team of 7-10 baristas each day Lead by example in attitude, service, and spirit Manage excellent customer service experiences Coach on beverage quality, efficiency, and speed Work within the CMU vendor community and communicate with CMU staff Place orders and manage inventory Solve day-to-day problems as they arise QualificationsManager candidates should have experience: Leading a team by example Creating schedules and managing inventory In a fast-paced customer service environment Compassionately enforcing policies Working as a team with a positive attitude Communicating proactively Brewing and serving espresso and coffee in a cafe setting Working and standing for 8-9 hour shifts, with an excellent attendence record.
