This Pittsburgh Juice Company is on the lookout for positive, enthusiastic individuals to join our team in Lawrenceville! As a Juicologist, you will play a vital role in the production of smoothies and smoothie bowls, as well as retail sales of our organic cold-pressed juices and raw plant-based food items. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about cleanliness, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy contributing in a collaborative team setting.
Responsibilities in our Lawrenceville shop include:
Customer service and retail transactions
Collaborating daily with a multi-functional team in-person and via messaging
Proactively managing individual workflow based upon daily inventory needs
Following detailed instruction (written and verbal options available)
Regularly lifting crates of juice and produce up to 25lbs
Thorough and consistent sanitation and regular dish washing
Following food and beverage recipes with care and attention to detail
Packing orders and cross-checking inventory
Qualifications:
Comfort engaging in conversation about the health benefits of cold-pressed juice.
Enthusiasm for maintaining a thoroughly clean, sanitary, and orderly work space.
Well developed interpersonal and teamwork skills. Clear communication.
Strong sales and customer service focus.
Deep understanding of food safety protocols, cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly taste food and beverages made with raw ingredients, including tree nuts.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 45lbs safely.
Physical agility to perform tasks that involve dexterity and fine motor skills.
Perform repetitive tasks such as bending, reaching, lifting, and pouring.
Maintain physical stamina and energy levels necessary for the dynamic pace and environment.
Comfort working in an environment that includes medium-to-high volume equipment sounds.
Interest in a plant-based lifestyle is strongly encouraged, though it is not a requirement for the position.
