We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to join our team at Leona’s new scoop shop. Ice cream is an experience, and we are looking for folks who are customer focused and happy to guide guests through with joy. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment while providing excellent customer service. This is an opportunity to help us create something new and awesome together!
We will be open 5 days a week, closed Monday and Tuesday. Shifts are between 6-8 hrs. based on store traffic.
Occasional Monday neighborhood events.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers with their orders in a friendly and professional manner.
Understand our brand and our products and be able to answer questions about ingredients, quality standards and how our ice
cream is made.
Handle cash and process payments using the register.
Ensure the ice cream display area is stocked and visually appealing.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.
Follow all safety, health, and food handling procedures.
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
Contribute to the team by working together to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Perform other duties as required, such as opening and closing the shop, restocking supplies, and cleaning.
Qualifications:
Friendly, outgoing, and customer-oriented attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Prior experience in a customer service or food service role preferred, but not required.
Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs., and handle repetitive tasks.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and possible holidays.
Serve safe food handler certificate or above is a bonus.
Pay/Benefits:
Scoopers will start at $12/hr plus pooled tips.
