At this time we need a person to help us with the children's lunches at our center. The center does not cook nor serve our own food. Each child brings their lunch from home. What we need is someone who can remove the lunches from their lunchbox and put them on plates. There can be an item from the lunch that needs to be heated in the microwave. It's not a difficult task but it is a task that will keep you busy. The first group of about 15 children eat at 11:30. The second group of children eat 12:00. These children are older. Their lunches are easier to plate. We have about 16 children who eat the second lunch.
There is some clean up involved in the toddler area. Their space needs to be cleaned and mopped after lunch. The area is about 300 square feet of space to mop daily.
The hours are from 10:45 - 1:30. You would be assisting the caregivers help the children to sleep from 1:00-1:30. You would also be setting out their cots. It's not a crazy amount of cots.usually about 15.
If you want more hours we could use help until 4:30/5:00. We can manage though if you just want a few hours/day or a few days/week. Mondays and Wednesdays are our hardest days to staff.
