We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service to ensure an outstanding experience for our patrons.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to company recipes and standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coffee preparation areas and equipment.
Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other equipment efficiently.
Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately.
Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction with their orders.
Assist in maintaining inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred.
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso preparation.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality beverages.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain one).
High school diploma or equivalent.
