Pharmacy Technician Associate Representative

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Associate Representative

Duration: 10+ Months

Location: Warrendale, PA 15086

Schedule Notes: On-Site Position 4 - 10 hour days Shift is 9 AM-8 PM with a rotating day off, or 11:00 am-8:00 pm

Pay rate starts from $15/hr. (Negotiable)

Duties:

Delivers basic technical, administrative, or operative Pharmacy tasks.

Assists pharmacists in filling orders and preparing labels.

Obtains new prescriptions and prescription refill information from customers.

Tracks utilization/inventory and may provide standardized summaries and reports.

Understands simple instructions and procedures.

Performs Pharmacy Technician duties under direct instruction and close supervision.

Work is allocated on a day-to-day or task-by-task basis with clear instructions.

Entry point into professional roles.

What you’ll do:

Accurately dispense and pack prescriptions for shipment

Responsible for processing prescriptions

Verify orders are accurate and packed according to specifications: extra dunnage, ice, and special instructions

Maintain general housekeeping of warehouse and pack stations, restock pack stations, return totes and carts to proper areas.

Skills:

Excellent Quality with the patient in mind, ensure accuracy

Use of technology data entry skills and reference database as needed

Be Efficient- attention to detail, organization skills, time management, and problem-solving skills will be important

Be Flexible- ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment; willingness to work a flexible schedule when needed

Be an effective communicator with solid interpersonal, written and verbal skills

Some computer knowledge General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of internet and email is required

Ability to lift 35lbs +

Ability to work on your feet 8+hrs

Clerical experience preferred.

Basic math skills and general PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, Internet, and email required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills desired.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent experience.

0 – 1 years relevant experience.
