Boat Yard General Laborer
Job Description:
Fox Chapel Marine is looking to hire a general laborer for various tasks around the boatyard.
This is a non-skilled labor job, where the applicant will be working outside most of the day.
This is a labor-intensive job and requires the applicant to be in fair shape.
There is a 60-day probationary period.
Knowledge of the marine industry and boating is a bonus but not required.
Experience with forklift operation is required and we will provide training to become a certified forklift operator.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting the launch crew to launch and block vessels from 18'-70' long.
Lifting heavy blocks and stands to shore the boats.
Assisting with setting up the straps on the travel lift.
Pressure washing the bottoms of boats.
Keeping the yard clean and orderly.
Assisting in general yard and machine maintenance.
Collecting and dumping the trash cans thought the yard and shop into the dumpsters.

Full-time Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour

8-hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availability
