Installation Manager / Crew Lead (Growth Opportunity)

Overview:

Safe Havens is a new accessibility and home modification company focused on creating safer, more comfortable living environments for homeowners and residents in need of mobility and accessibility solutions in Western PA. We’re seeking a motivated, hands-on professional to join our team as an Installation Manager with the opportunity to advance into a Director role as the company expands. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help build a business that truly makes a difference in people’s lives.

Responsibilities:

This position begins as an installer role with a pathway to leadership and business ownership potential. Key responsibilities include:

Perform installation of accessibility and safety equipment, including grab bars, ramps, stairlifts, bathroom modifications, and related accessibility products.

Ensure all installations meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in good working order.

Provide excellent communication and service to homeowners, caregivers, and partners.

Assist in developing installation processes, safety protocols, and quality standards as the team grows.

Train and mentor new crew members as additional installers are hired.

Work closely with management to schedule jobs, source materials, and maintain project timelines.

Participate in business development efforts by representing Safe Havens’ mission and values on every project.

Have demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to work clean and organized.

Qualifications:

Must be located and willing to work throughout Western PA.

Ability to build and lead a crew.

Prior experience in home modifications, remodeling, carpentry, or accessibility product installation preferred.

Experience installing ramps, stairlifts, or bathroom safety products is a plus.

Basic carpentry, mechanical, or construction skills required.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work safely with power tools.

Strong communication and leadership potential.

Desire to grow into a management role and take ownership of a meaningful business that helps people live more safely and independently.

Excellent customer service skills a must.

Safe Havens is a drug free workplace must be willing to complete a background check.

Compensation:

Starting Wage: $25 – $30 per hour, based on experience.

Advancement Potential: Opportunity for wage increases, bonus structure, or profit-sharing as leadership responsibilities increase.

Part Time to Full-Time Position: Up to 40 hours per week with potential overtime.

Benefits: Paid holidays, mileage or vehicle allowance, company tools and training provided.

Growth Path:

This role is designed to evolve from Installation Manager position to full director of Project Management. As Safe Havens expands, the right candidate will help build and lead installation teams, coordinate projects, and play a key role in shaping a company dedicated to helping others through safe, accessible home environments.
