Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Lot Attendant/Detailer and play a vital role in maintaining the appearance and organization of our vehicle inventory. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with vehicles, ensuring they are clean, polished, and ready for customer delivery. As a key member of our automotive team, you will contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences by providing spotless, well-maintained vehicles that impress every time.
Duties
Perform thorough car washes, including exterior and interior cleaning, to ensure vehicles are spotless and presentable
Conduct detailed vehicle inspections to identify areas needing buffing, polishing, or additional cleaning
Utilize buffing machines and detailing tools to enhance vehicle appearance and remove minor scratches or imperfections
Maintain cleanliness of the lot by organizing vehicles, sweeping, trash removal, and general janitorial duties
Assist with vehicle movement around the lot using proper driving techniques to ensure safety and efficiency
Support custodial tasks such as vacuuming interiors, cleaning windows, wiping down surfaces, and maintaining overall lot tidiness
Collaborate with team members to ensure all vehicles meet quality standards before delivery or display
Requirements
Prior experience in car wash, detailing, or custodial work is highly preferred; janitorial experience is also valuable
Ability to operate detailing equipment such as buffers and polishers safely and effectively
Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients and team members
Valid driver’s license preferred with a clean driving record for moving vehicles around the lot as needed
Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship in cleaning and detailing tasks
Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks required for vehicle cleaning and maintenance
