Mechanical Assembly Position ($17-19 per hour)
The 84 Group Inc. is a long time established electronic distributor in the Pittsburgh PA area. We are expanding our production assembly area and desire to hire a talented team of mechanical assemblers. Assembly personnel will work together on an assembly line producing finished products from raw material. The finished products will be tested, labeled and packaged as they are prepared for delivery. Individual should have good hand and eye coordination. Must be capable of handling a few basic hand or power tools. An Assembler should be a people person who can work independently in a team environment.
Skills required
Ability to read and follow technical work instructions provided.
Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
Follow company procedures and directives.
Alert Team Leader when any product discrepancies are found.
Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
Meet daily product output expectations on a repetitive basis
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Able to operate power or cordless tools necessary for assembling products.
Ability to lift 25-50lbs
