WE ARE SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED ROOF TECH/SHINGLE INSTALLER TO WORK AS A W-2 EMPLOYEE FOR LONG TERM EMPLOYMENT IN PITTSBURGH, PA.
PLEASE READ ENTIRE JOB DESCRIPTION. PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT A REPLY WITHOUT SENDING A RESUME.
Great craftsmen are getting harder and harder to find, and we are looking for a hands on roofing expert. At LINC Roofing and Contracting, we appreciate the knowledge and ability our techs offer to the team, and we hold them in high regard. We offer very competitive pay programs and opportunities for advancement to those who are willing to work for it.
As a Roofing Repair Tech at LINC Roofing and Contracting, you will handle day to day small repairs, installs and warranty work as well as offer onsite support for subcontractor crews performing roof replacements. You will meet daily with clients experiencing roof issues and give them peace of mind as you offer your expertise in mitigation of leaks and craftmanship issues.
At LINC Roofing and Contracting, you must have the ability to adapt to the changing needs of day to day work in a fast paced environment. You must be able to mange your own schedule, keep up with reporting, and do the hands on work required.
Every day will be different, but in a typical day, you will report to the office at 7:00 am to plan your day and look ahead with the Production Manager. From there, you will schedule repairs with homeowners. You will procure the materials and tools needed, load them in your company truck, and work independently to fulfill work orders ranging from small repairs, to warranty work, and some small siding/roof assignments. You may be needed to pick up and transport materials, offer expertise to project managers and crews, or assist with a multitude of tasks that may arise.
Some days may be long, some may be short, some hard, and some simple. There will be a higher demand for your time in the warmer months of the year, and may be very little in the Winter months. We cover a large service area including most of the state of Pittsburgh and surrounding areas, so although rare, overnight stays may at times be required. We can offer creative pay programs to help keep your income consistent in the slow season if you so desire.
