Position – Snow Removal Sidewalk Equipment Operator/ Laborer
Applicants will be expected to clear sidewalks and apply ice melt products using one of the following equipment
- Kubota UTV
- Kubota Tractor
- John Deere Gator UTV
- Ventrac Tractor
- Boss Snowrator
- Avant Loader
Minor hand shoveling will be required, in areas such as steps, doorways, etc.
We are hiring for snow removal at 2 Locations:
1. Robinson Township Area
2. Downtown Pittsburgh Area
Worker will report directly to assigned location within 1 hour of a call out (snow event)
Does NOT require a driver's license, but you must have your own transportation to the assigned job site Rides can be provided in certain circumstances (ex. living close to a long term current employee that has a company vehicle or living close to/or on the way to one of our snow sites - Downtown and Robinson)
THIS JOB IS ON THE BOOKS. WE DO NOT PAY CASH
This position is seasonal. This position requires availability 24 HOURS A DAY- 7 DAYS A WEEK. Hours worked per week are determined by inclement weather and will vary. Applicants must keep track of the weather/temperatures and be available/ready to work. Further details can be provided at the time of your interview.
Snow Removal Wage: $20.00 per hour ($15.00/hr. base wage, plus $5.00/hr. snow bonus wage = $20.00 per hour)

Please read the following information, to help answer/clarify some frequently asked questions:
If your only means of commuting are via public transportation, you aren’t eligible for the position, as our operations are 24/7 and public transportation hours are not in line w/ any overnight operations
In some cases we may be willing to provide rides to the snow-site (depends on your location)
Hours are precipitation dependent, so if you absolutely need a full 40 hour paycheck to make ends meet, this is not the position for you. Some weeks will have abundant hours due to snowfall and can range from 30 to 80 (all hours after 40 are paid @ time and a half). Other weeks might have very few hours due to lack of snowfall.
The opportunity to stay onboard for the Landscape Season (March-November) is available
Working only during the winter months is fine as well (December-Mid March)
