Pro Bike + Run is currently accepting applications for Bicycle Mechanics at 5 locations across Pittsburgh
Monroeville, Robinson, South Hills, North Park and Strip District.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Interact with customers and provide exemplary customer service
Building bicycles
Chain sizing/installation
Basic adjustments (brakes, gears, bearings, wheel true)
Flat fixes
Hydraulic brake service
Wheel truing
Tune-ups
Wrap handlebars
Complete all scheduled work orders in a timely manner
Perform minor repairs on the spot
Maintain an organized, clean work area
Complete training program
Adhere to all Pro Bike + Run policies
The ideal candidate:
At least one year of mechanical or technical experience working on bicycles
Neat, organized, and respectful of a shared work space
Highly driven individual with excellent customer service and attention to detail
Strong time management skills and works well under pressure
