Job Title: POS Lead Engineer
Must to have Skills : Oracle Retail Point of Service ( POS) or Jump Mind.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Work very closely with product manager, Business Analyst, UX designer and architect to define technical product requirements and collaborate within agile teams to drive user story/tasks creation along with design and development activities.
Design and develop products using Java, Spring Boot & Microservices
Create and maintain necessary software design and relevant documentation.
Participate in group sessions within developer community and share knowledge
Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through details while driving innovation as well as issue resolution
Must have worked on L2 /L3 Support roles
Skills required to contribute:
10+ years of total IT experience with special focus on POS development.
8+ years of experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices
Must be proficient in doing customization in ORPOS 1312
Retail Domain experience Xstore POS
Core Java experience
Hands on in SOAP / REST WEB service
Trouble shooting skill for analysing problem tickets / production issues
Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, PubSub, Rabbit MQ
Experience in GIT
Cloud awareness Google Cloud Platform or AWS
Good Communication skills
Experience with Agile development methodologies
