Apex Systems is recruiting an Application Developer to join our client here in the Pittsburgh area. The Application Developer will join our client's Treasury Services organization in the OFAC and AML spaces. They will be a significant contributor to a globally diverse team which is responsible for enhancing and maintaining our client's Fircosoft and LexisNexis OFAC sanction screening platforms and our Actimize Suspicious Activity Monitor AML system.

Challenges will include OFAC screening of client information, AML profiling of financial transactions, configuring, testing, and deploying product enhancements, building new utilities and reports, onboarding new feeds, coordinating deployments, and participating in meetings with business partners and vendors. This highly visible position is critical for the continued success of the company's regulatory and compliance initiatives.

Primary Job Responsibilities Include:

• Providing OFAC and AML solutions
• Onboard new work streams for screening
• Implement regulatory model changes
• Configuration and testing of new product features
• Deploying product enhancements
• Developing new utilities and reports
• Implementing strategic architectural changes

Qualifications:

• Experience with OFAC and AML regulations and processes
• Knowledge of Fircosoft and LexisNexis OFAC products
• Knowledge of Actimize AML products is a plus
• Experience with Linux, Java, Containers, Windows, .NET, Oracle DB, and SQL Server
• Familiarity with ETL platforms is a plus
• 5 - 7 years of related development experience in a fast-paced financial or securities environment
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in IT or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Additional Notes:

• We are looking for someone with experience, a few years should suffice.
• Financial experience is preferred, but not required
• We are all remote now, this will be a remote start with an eventual change to onsite.
• Top 3 skills:
  • Knowledge of Fircosoft and LexisNexis OFAC products
  • Experience with Linux, Java, Cloud Containers, Windows, .NET, Oracle DB, and SQL Server
  • Knowledge of Actimize AML products is a plus
