Hello! My name is Ken and I am looking for a personal trainer for general fitness and activity to come to my location on a set schedule.
The schedule would be whatever we work out together, I'm flexible, and it can be changed as needed, but in general I like to have a predictable, reliable schedule.
I'm not looking for strength training or bodybuilding or any kind of martial arts or anything like that, just general fitness and activity to help keep the body in good condition. A mixture of some days being exercises and some days being hikes or rides on the nearby GAP trail, or urban hikes would be a nice mix.
Someone with a background (of some kind) in fitness would be great. A student studying something along the lines of fitness would be ideal.
As for compensation, please let me know what you would charge. I would like each day to be about 1.5 hours, and I'd be looking at 2 or 3 days per week depending on your availability. I know "at clients location" isn't as common for personal training, so please be sure to include anything you need for travel time and lump it together and let me know what you would charge.
About me, and why I'm looking for this: I'm quite active in the sense that I am continuously doing a lot of projects "around the house" and some are quite strenuous. I don't have any issue doing these projects, but it isn't very well rounded in terms of overall fitness, and my day job does not require any exertion really. I do feel Father Time creeping in as I turn 50 and want to keep him at bay for as long as possible. So I'm looking for exercises and activities that aren't so much about weight and muscle, but flexibility and stamina and general energy.
