We’re looking for an experienced Carpenter who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and knows how to run a job from start to finish. You’ll manage day-to-day field operations, coordinate with project managers, and ensure your crew stays productive, efficient, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Lead projects remodeling projects including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and additions from layout to final punch list.
Supervise and work alongside a team of carpenters to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and up to our quality standards.
Handle all aspects of remodeling including:
Framing, drywall, and finish carpentry
Cabinet installation, trim work, and flooring (LVP, hardwood, tile)
Fixture and hardware installation
Minor electrical and plumbing tie-ins
Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and scope sheets provided by project managers and designers.
Plan ahead and order materials or communicate shortages in advance to keep jobs moving efficiently.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site, enforcing OSHA and company safety policies.
Communicate clearly with project managers and homeowners regarding progress, updates, and questions.
Conduct daily site documentation and ensure accurate completion photos, notes, and time tracking.
Mentor less experienced carpenters — teaching best practices, proper installation methods, and attention to detail.
Represent Three Rivers Contracting with professionalism, integrity, and respect in every client interaction.
Qualifications
5+ years of residential remodeling experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or lead carpenter role.
Strong working knowledge of all phases of interior/ exterior remodeling
Able to read plans, verify dimensions, and problem-solve field issues confidently.
Competent in framing, drywall, trim carpentry, flooring, cabinetry, and layout.
Familiar with building codes and jobsite safety practices.
Capable of leading small crews (2–4 carpenters) and coordinating with subcontractors.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to craftsmanship.
