Driver/Laborer Position:
South Side company searching for a responsible and hardworking driver/laborer with experience driving a 24’ straight truck. Responsibilities will include:
Driving a 24’ foot box truck with an automatic transmission
Working on location with client representatives
Pack & wrap materials for safe transport
Palletizing and shrink wrapping pallets of used electronics
Loading and unloading trucks with a pallet jack
Occasionally disassembly of computer and server equipment using screw guns and hand tools
Sorting mixed pallets of e-waste into their respective categories
Organizing pallets of material on the warehouse floor
Recording weights, serial numbers, & asset tags in an excel spreadsheet
Must have the ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
The job is 9-5 Monday through Friday with the occasional weekend days. The potential employee must be a legal U.S. resident that will submit to drug and background screening, must have a current driver's license, FYI our permits/certifications do not allow us to hire applicants with a DUI or felony record. Applicants must be presentable for client site operations and dress in provided uniform.
