Repossession Investigator
Objective: To locate bank collateral and give detailed information concerning the collateral in question and the surrounding environment.
-Utilize Clearplan to locate addresses and vehicle
-Update accounts accordingly
-Run in a zone and locate as many vehicles as possible
-Take pre-repo pictures of vehicle for tow truck use
-Physically verify VIN for accuracy
-Discount bad or inaccurate information
-Analyze information from a database to determine probable vehicle location
We are a repossession company based in the Pittsburgh market and we are seeking investigators to join our team of spotters. Qualified candidates will assist in locating and securing vehicles that are out for repossession. This is not a tow truck position. All applicants must have a clean driving record, no criminal convictions and be willing to submit to random and pre-employment drug screenings. This is an overnight driving position.
Duties include:
-Following a route plan
-Driving a vehicle in our coverage area
-Locating vehicles by make and model
-Properly reading VIN's
-Safely operating company vehicles
-Ability to type
Prior investigative experience is very helpful, but not necessary. All applicants must be at least 23 years of age due to insurance regulations, must have a working cell phone and have knowledge of the Pittsburgh area. The more you find, the more you earn. The average salary per investigator is $40k-$45k, but motivated investigators are in the $60k-$65k range. We are offering a sign-on bonus of $5,000 paid in three installments.
