Dyer on the Mountain is a small business in the Pocono Mountains established in 2021, and is artist owned and operated. They dye garments for small to large scale projects for their online store, touring bands, small businesses, and custom orders.

Responsibilities for this position includes but is not limited to:
Preparing and organizing garments for dyeing
Laundering garments before and after dyeing
Tying garments for dyeing
Washing out garments
Organizing and packing inventory
Photographing garments
Supporting the creation of online content
Fulfilling online orders
Updating online store
The right candidate must possess the following qualities:
Interested in learning the complexities of running a small business
Interest in the arts and learning new skills associated with the creative process
Organized and quick learning
Efficient, focused, and motivated
Must be able to commit roughly 8-16 hours a week to start
Must be over the age of 18
Physical requirements for this role will include:
Tying garments in large quantities, leveraging minor upper body strength
Fairly frequent bending (to move and organize garments)
Fairly frequent lifting (20-40 lbs) to pack and move boxes of garments
Exposure to moisture while washing out garments
The pay for this position is $15 an hour. The schedule may be fairly flexible depending on employee’s other time commitments and will range from 8-16 hours a week. Eventually, after a training period, remote work may be available (taking garments home to dye and returning them when they are complete.)
