JPA Masonry LLC has an immediate opening for a highly motivated, organized, full-time Masonry & Concrete Construction Estimator in the POCONOS- 469 Industrial Park Dr, Mount Pocono PA 18344
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience/Bachelor's Degree.
This position requires experience in conceptual estimating, quantity take off, budget development, and the purchasing/negotiating of subcontracts
Excellent blue print reading, design techniques, and principles in estimating
Must be able to determine the materials, methods, and tools involved with new construction or repair of structures.
Practical application of engineering science and technology - this includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of commercial and residential masonry, excavation and concrete projects.
Understanding of contractual terms and conditions
Purchase orders/Subcontractor negotiations and vender relationships
Understanding and apply construction schedules
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
OSHA 30 preferred
Strong personal character and integrity with excellent communication skills, ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast pace industry, punctual and reliable. (EOE)
Requires working indoors.
May require travel to job sites and/or working outdoors.
