Confident Assistant Food Service Director sought for a college food service operation in NJ, near East Stroudsburg, PA. We are looking for a manager who has a combination of the following skills:
1. Culinary While this is not a hands on production position, we need someone who can supervise the team. We need a person who understands quality food and can write menus.
2. People One of the most important skills is leadership. We seek a manager who can attract hard working, driven individuals who will follow corporate initiatives.
3. Retail/Merchandising Prior experience with a convenience store or snack bar would be helpful. You will manage a coffee shop on the campus as well as the personnel and scheduling.
4. Administrative Everyone on the management team needs outstanding skills in this area. Lets face it, computers are part of the life of any manager in food service.
5. General management All the managers work together and you will cover other managers shifts.
