The Lakewood Lodge and Restaurant is seeking an experienced cook to work in busy, modernized country inn kitchen. The ideal candidate will have fine dining and casual menu experience, strong leadership and team traits, and be capable of running and managing the kitchen as the second in charge, reporting to our chef. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated 2+ years related experience, with culinary training/degree a plus. Recent grads are encouraged to apply, as you will gain valuable experience. Reliable transportation with nights and weekend work schedule required. Job requirements include lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, and operation of commercial fryers, griddle, charbroiler, range and ovens. Pay rate is commensurate with experience.
