SERVPRO of Southern Monroe, N.E. Monroe & Pike Counties is seeking highly motivated, detail and goal oriented, professional

Remediation Technician Water/Mold

Fulltime positions with rotational “on-call” (after hours) for overtime and possible bonus incentives.

Salary based on experience with performance based pay increases!

Paid training

Learn and become proficient (with certifications!) in both residential and commercial emergency mitigation work, including but not limited to:

•Water damage restoration

•Fire/smoke/soot & odor damage clean-up, removal & deodorization

•Mold remediation, biohazard and crime scene clean-up

•Carpet & upholstery - as well as general cleaning.

Summary:

Our production laborers become highly trained restoration technicians. They deliver superior customer care and quality services to our water, fire, smoke and mold damage customers - in both a residential and commercial capacity.

Qualifications:

•Previous experience in restoration or construction company helpful – but not necessary; will train right candidate.

•Must have valid driver’s license, pass criminal background check, and be drug free.

•Clear concise communication skills – both verbal and written – IS A MUST!!

•Basic mathematic skills as well as the abilities to apply commonsense & problem solve!

•Must be able to work in hot & cold weather, sometimes in uncomfortable spaces & conditions (attics, crawlspaces, roofs & wetness, fumes, particulates etc.).

•Quality customer service driven with ability to use basic common sense and follow simple directions.

•Must be able to rotate afterhours & overtime work – which may be necessary at times.

•Estimating experience helpful, but not necessary.

•Must be computer literate on Windows programs with a willingness to learn new computer/iPad programs & apps.

•IICRC certifications a plus, i.e.: IICRC WRT, IICRC ASD, IICRC AMRT etc. helpful but not necessary,
