We’ve recently expanded into the Poconos through a new partnership, providing high-quality property maintenance and contracting services for short-term rental homes and other clients in the region.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Maintenance Lead to join our team on a part‑time, ad‑hoc basis (3 days/week to start) with significant schedule flexibility. This is a unique opportunity to grow your skills under the guidance of a seasoned General and Mechanical Contractor with 30+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general construction.
What You’ll Do:
Perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and upgrade tasks across our rental home portfolio and other client properties, including thermostat installs, emergency service calls, deck staining, gas line installation, and other general handyman work.
Travel to job sites throughout the Poconos region; reliable driving and ability to access multiple properties is required.
Learn directly from an experienced GC who loves to teach and mentor — no prior experience in all aspects of maintenance is required.
Manage your own schedule in coordination with the company — take jobs, dispatch yourself, and report work status.
Communicate professionally with clients, tenants, and the company: timeliness, responsiveness, and reliability are key.
Represent the company in a professional manner — maintain customer trust, present yourself well, keep work areas clean, follow through on commitments.
Grow with the company: as you prove reliability and dedication, there is potential for the company to provide a truck and tools.
What We’re Looking For:
Willingness to learn and develop skills across multiple trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC support, or general handyman work.
Self-motivated, able to work independently without an in-person boss present daily.
Strong communication, responsibility, and reliability — you show up, you do the work, you follow through.
Professional attitude and appearance, comfortable interacting with homeowners, guests, and clients.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license; able to travel throughout the Poconos area.
