As servant leaders, we lead by example.Position SummaryThe purpose of this role is to maintain housekeeping and safety of the facility by monitoring levels of trash in compactors, open-top containers, and trash line; removing and bailing cardboard from trash line and reporting trash levels.Accountabilities

Engage in Safety to ensure Plan To Zero (PTZ) is met

o Conduct all activities and perform all job duties and functions following strict adherence to established, company implemented safety behaviors, processes, and procedures.o Operate a baling machine in a safe and efficient manner, baling cardboard, plastic, shrink wrap, and other materials as requested.

Improve and maintain Quality Expectations

o Reclamation of product and materials per established company procedures.

Production Expectations are understood, achieved and sustained

o Production-based position.o Any other duties as assigned by site leadership.

o Able to effectively work within a diverse team environment.General Responsibilitieso Perform sanitation, -Clean as You Go,- and good housekeeping practices.o May be required to operate a Fork-Lift in a safe and efficient manner (training and certification to be provided).o Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. consistently throughout duration of shift.o Ability to effectively perform a job requiring consistent, repetitive motion, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting.Qualificationso Familiarity using a pallet jack.o Prior baler or machine operation experience preferred, but not required.o Prior Forklift experience and certification preferred, but not required.o Experience in a fast-paced, production based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.o High School Diploma, GED, or comparable work related experience preferred.Rehrig Pacific Company is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
