Develop and maintain design standards, CAD and Revit standards, project templates and families, and standard details library

Researches, tests and implements new procedures and/or updates existing design software

Provide ongoing design technology software support

Management of design technology team work flow, ensuring consistency and quality

Assist with training and skills development of design staff through training seminars, verbal instruction, and by bringing new technical developments in-house; this includes training staff on various design technology software

Work with Standards Committee to develop and implement design guidelines

Make recommendations for hardware and software purchase

Communicates with outside vendors for maintenance of plotting equipment

Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing CAD and Revit Team implementation of company initiatives with regards to training, standards, and processes

Experience developing training program and company CAD standards

Proven proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Revit

Working knowledge and relevant experience with state and municipal CAD and Revit standards

Broad understanding and strong technical skills in civil, horizontal utilities, water/wastewater treatment facilities and pumping stations, bridges and vertical construction engineering drawings for the following disciplines: architectural, civil/site, MEP, process piping, and structural

Prior training in AutoCAD and Revit set-up and development.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
