job detailsjob summary:Power Delivery Planning Engineer opportunities with a client located in the Northeastern U.S Using Power Flow programs these positions will be responsible for working with internal and external clients on the study, planning and analysis related to power generation and load connections on the clients systems. Provide technical support and studies for load connection

Propose and justify recommended mitigation projects to any planning criteria identified through the study and analysis

Perform studies associated with new load connections and other transmission projects

Provide support to Operations when needed (system outages, heavy loading, system analysis etc.)

Participate in annual maintenance of department planning, facility connection and other procedure

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

BSEE degree from an ABET accredited institution

3 or more years experience in the use of power system analysis software (Promod, TARA, EMT, or similar software)

Demonstrated experience in load connection studies power system analysis

Experience in the utility, heavy industrial or similar with power distribution planning and analysis

qualifications:

Experience level: Experienced

Minimum 3 years of experience

Education: Bachelors (required)
