Our Reading PA client has been bottling soft drinks since 1921. They are looking for an expert Forklift Driver to assist the Production Manager with the daily tasks needed to run the . This role will be trained in almost all manufacturing positions so they can assist where needed.
Skills/Responsibilities
- Experienced forklift operator in a manufacturing and warehouse setting
- Must be able to offload raw materials from trucks to buildings
-Must be able to load product on box trucks and large freight trailers
- Maintain quality assurance and ability to check product before and after loading or unloading
GFSI certified company. E
- very product raw or finished must be checked and verified.
Warehouse activities include:
- Putting raw materials and stock away (FIFO)
- Taking inventory
-Maintain organization and cleanliness of various
General duties:
- Assist Production Manager in daily tasks to run the facility
- Assist manufacturing area as needed
- Learn how to fill CO2 tanks and all aspects of the product
- Mechanical aptitude
- Be Flexible - tasks will vary from day today
Compensation: $17.5-20, Benefits, PTO, IRA 3% Match
