Ken-Grill Recreation Center, Kenhorst, PA is currently recruiting full and part-time Lifeguards. A strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and Red Cross Certified Lifeguard certification is a must.
SUMMARY: Lifeguard candidates must have extreme confidence in the water as well as when working with patrons and other lifeguard staff. Current Red Cross Lifeguarding certification is required, with at least 2 years of lifeguarding preferred. Ken Grill Lifeguards requires reliability and maturity. Working hours will be between 10 am to 7:30 pm daily.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must have current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification
Must administer First Aid or CPR in an emergency.
Able to understand, follow and enforce the rules equally and fairly as taught to them through American Red Cross lifeguard training, as well as Ken Grill Recreation Center
Observes members, guests and other staff in and around the pool; aiming to provide the highest level of safety and emergency response.
Maintains the pool and pool area as assigned by Ken Grill Recreation Center management or board.
Greets and signs in members and guests through our pool welcome areas.
Cleans all areas of Ken Grill Recreation Center, including daily trash and cleaning duties.
