DSC Logistics, a Lead Logistics Partner (LLP), third-party logistics (3PL) provider and supply chain consultant, is looking for Operations Managers and Team Leaders in both Breinigsville and Nazareth, PA! Both roles are responsible for directing and engaging employees in DSC's Logistics Center to achieve productivity goals.

Team Leader Responsibilities:

Understand and communicate shift, Customer and Logistics Center goals

Execute the daily work plan including goals and workflow management

Implement DSC's Labor Management Program (performance observations)

Provide front line feedback on staffing needs to Supply Chain Leader and Operations Leader

Provide coaching through observations and provide performance feedback

Track and communicate Operations Specialist performance

Conduct safety observations and participate in Safety Committee

Monitor and manage employee time, attendance and payroll

Job shadow Operations Specialists and conduct on-the-job training with Operations Specialists

Perform process quality checks and program management

Review Logistics Center performance against Customer requirements

Help the Operations Specialists to feel more connected to the larger customer goals

Operations Managers Responsibilities:

Manage the Workforce Team Leaders

Train Team Leaders and hold them accountable for performance

Ensure Team Leaders are observing, training and coaching operations employees to drive performance

Connect employees to DSC's and the Customer's business objectives

Deliver Performance (including Safety, Quality, Productivity & Customer Requirements)

Implement action plans to deliver results and manage a staffing plan to drive results

Review employee & shift performance with Team Leaders

Drive cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activity

Support Team Leader efforts to improve operational performance

Ensure the building is clean, safe and damage is being addressed and managed

Troubleshoot problems and remove obstacles so that Team Leaders can properly manage their shift

Ensure systems are set up appropriately and processes are adhered to, allowing operations employees to be productive

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree

Some experience supervising employees and managing leaders

Understanding of warehousing operations with experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment

Ability shift priorities easily, and multi-task in a highly transactional environment

Ability to engage with the workforce and leadership teams and create a positive environment and culture
