Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and organized House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our recovery house. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of addiction recovery principles, and the ability to maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere for residents.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the recovery house, ensuring a safe and structured environment.
Enforce house rules, policies, and guidelines consistently and fairly.
Provide support and guidance to residents, promoting a positive recovery environment.
Conduct regular house meetings to foster communication and community.
Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the property.
Coordinate with external service providers, including therapists, counselors, and medical professionals.
Handle administrative tasks such as resident intake, record-keeping, and reporting.
Respond to emergencies and manage conflict resolution.
Qualifications:
Experience in addiction recovery, social work, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
Familiarity with 12-step programs or other recovery methodologies is a plus.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Compensation:
We offer flexible compensation options based on the candidate's availability and living arrangements:
Part-Time Position: $1,000 - $2000 per month, with an expected commitment of approximately 10-15 hours per week.
Live-In Position: $1000 - $1500 per month, including a private room and housing benefits (utilities included).
The live-in option provides significant value through housing, allowing the right candidate to reduce their living expenses while taking on a management role with lighter, more flexible responsibilities.
