Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Maternity Leave Coverage
Location: Near Scott Township, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Potential for Hybrid/Virtual)
Position Type: Short-Term | School-Based | K–6 Caseload
Duration: ASAP – Mid-February 2026
Pay rate: $48-$58/HR
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide maternity leave coverage at an elementary school serving grades K–6. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity for an experienced or early-career SLP who enjoys working with children in an educational setting.
The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately and continue through mid-February 2026. There may be flexibility for hybrid or virtual scheduling, depending on experience and district approval.
Key Details:
Caseload Size: Approximately 55 students
Student Population: Grades K–6
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Mid-February 2026
Location: On-site preferred, hybrid/virtual considered
Responsibilities Include:
Provide direct therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers
Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with school and state guidelines
Requirements:
Valid Pennsylvania SLP License
ASHA CCCs preferred (CFs with strong school-based experience may be considered)
PDE certification (Educational Specialist – Speech & Language) strongly preferred
Experience with school-aged children and IEP processes
